Fusion food at it's most extreme is being concocted by Chinese Head Chef Bruce Hui at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel, The Surawongse's Yáo Restaurant.
Available throughout June, delicious parinings of classic French Foie Gras and contemporary Chinese dishes are served up in a six course set menu, available for THB 1,588 ++ per set.
You can enjoy Pan-fried Foie Gras with Salad, Shrimp and Foie Gras Crystal Dumplings, Spinach and Tofu Soup with Crispy Foie Gras Roll, Stir-fried Wagyu Beef and Foie Gras with Black Bean and Draught Beer Sauce, Jasmine Fried Rice with Foie Gras, Dried scallop and Szechuan pepper. You can even end the meal with a creative Foie Gras Ice cream topped with Pumpkin Seeds.
Located on the 32nd floor, Yào Restaurant boasts an impressive view of Bangkok and the Chao Praya River, bought to life through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The décor combines vintage Chinese style with metropolitan sophistication. The restaurant also offers a variety of functional private and VIP dining rooms, each with a seating capacity for 6-20 guests. The biggest room has a dining table that can seat up to 20 guests, perfect for large family gatherings.
The Foie Gras set menu is available daily at Yào Restaurant for Lunch from 11.30 hrs – 14.30 hrs and for Dinner from 18.00 hrs – 22.30 hrs. The promotion lasts until 30 June 2019.
