The Boathouse Phuket, one of the island’s legendary hotels, has reopened after a five-month makeover of its secluded boutique hideaway setting on Kata Beach. All 39 guestrooms and suites have been refurbished and updated with a new look integrated with the beachfront location and maritime theme, that makes guests feel as if they’re relaxing on a yacht while traversing the ocean. Coastal chic and refreshing interior details such as ropes, and a combination of wood, ocean blue and white hues are incorporated into the design to capture the freshness of the ocean and enhance the Baan Reua (Boathouse) character.
