Hua Hin’s first-ever full marathon is the latest running event in the nation’s busy sporting calendar. Around 3,000 runners are expected to compete this inaugural event on Sunday 13 May that also includes a half marathon, 10.5km mini-marathon and 5km fun run, with all races beginning and ending at historic Wat Khao Krailar. Managed by the Preserve Hua Hin Group, an organisation engaged in environmental and social education programmes to promote sustainable practices for Hua Hin’s community, the event will see HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn trophies awarded to the first male and female marathon winners, with after-race massages of tired legs provided by Chiva-Som therapists.
